What the free account does
Limited. You register, complete a personality assessment, and receive matches. Messaging sits behind the subscription, in the same shape as eharmony and Match.

Why there are no user quotes here
We use verbatim App Store reviews as the one user-side signal we can verify, because Apple publishes them with a name, a rating and a date. For EliteSingles we could not find a first-party iOS listing to pull. The one US App Store app carrying the EliteSingles name is published by a company unrelated to the operator of the website, so its reviews describe a different product and are not used here.
That is a gap in the evidence, and we would rather say so than fill it with reviews scraped from somewhere we cannot attribute.
Where it lands
Seventh. The positioning is specific - graduates, professionals, serious intent - and the mechanics underneath are the standard subscription pattern: no price up front, no messaging without paying, renewal terms discovered at checkout.
If the audience fits you, treat it as a paid product from the start and buy the shortest term. There is nothing in the free tier that will tell you whether it is working.
